Livingston, Rhone Report 3,5 Sterne: mainly dark red robe; the bouquet carries an aroma of plum fruits with sweet herbs, latent spicing, wells up thoroughly. The palate is also overtly spicy, with plums and mulberry fruit leading the charge. It shows late strength, firmness, and requires a little time to open out its fruit, and to refine and round its finish. There’s plenty going on for both nose and palate, and it sits firmly, is suited to red meats, lamb tajine, for example.
