Livingston Rhone Report 3,5 Sterne: (vat/Probe aus dem Tank) dark red colour; the bouquet gives a sweet-tined aroma of blackberry, ripe blueberry, a note of raspberry. It’s young, well-fruited, not yet varied. The palate picks up on the theme of sweet ease, holds plump matter, mixed berry fruits with pliant tannins that ease into the picture late on. It’s an upfront, accessible Châteauneuf, no strings attached, the slight impression given that more senior cuvées have stolen some its depth, interest. The aftertaste is lip smacking, rounded. 15°. 30,000 b. €23.50 at the domaine. From 2022. 2036-38 Nov 2020
