Decanter 92: A floral style aromatically with a soft and yielding palate and a good sense of freshness. This has a little citrussy kick on the finish which extends the length. Well balanced – a very good Tradition blanc. All stainless steel.

Livingston 4 Sterne: pale yellow, very light colour; the bouquet is gentle, combines an air of roast nuts with low-key citrus, pear fruits. Its depth is steady, no Show Biz here. The palate is well-tuned, offers an effortless glide of neat white plum, citrus fruit flavours with a nudge of saltiness on the finish. This is stylish, nicely reserved Châteauneuf blanc, very much on charm over power; it has great shape. It will provide great drinking with Japanese cuisine, steamed dishes, where vinous accuracy can be combined with food accuracy. 14°. 34% Gren bl, 33% Rouss, 33% Clair. 2026-27 Aug 2020
