Livingstone 4,5 Sterne: the robe does indeed carry a notion of rose, pale apricot in it from the Clairette rose; the nose is elegantly scented, with a soft floral tone, peony and rose petal, with a very trim white strawberry, much precision in the aroma. The palate gives a supple run of peach fruit with a gentle build in tannin and depth towards the finish. This is well balanced, high quality, savoury, ever so discreetly perfumed Châteauneuf blanc, carries real good detail, with neat, fresh length. It deserves refined dishes that can match its clarity. 14°. 2031-33 June 2020
